French Broad River Classique Canoe & Kayak Race

There will be a two-day race on the French Broad River through Henderson and Buncombe Counties on April 24-25, 2010. The first French Broad River Classique Canoe & Kayak Race is scheduled for 34 miles over two days, with the Westfeldt River Park near the airport being the dividing point. The first day is flat but fast moving water; the second has a few riffles. For more information, see www.fbcanoeracing.org
